My engine light has come on, what should I do?
When your check engine light comes on, there could be a number of issues. It could be something basic, or it could be something serious.
The best way to ensure that you are safe behind the wheel is to bring your vehicle into us for a diagnostic inspection.
We’ll look to find the issue and make you aware of it so you can choose whether or not you want to take the next steps to getting your vehicle back to its optimum condition.
Do you cover company vehicles?
The main part of our business is small to medium fleet maintenance covering every aspect and every type of vehicle or plant/machine, so a “one stop shop”.
We have many clients in the construction industry where we look after everything they own. if it has an engine we fix/maintain it ie: vans, cars, engine powered equipment, trailers, etc.
We send early reminders for servicing, MOTS, inspections and due dates for required checks.
We have also been involved with various classic car restorations from full suspension strip repair/rebush & rebuild to wiring loom check, add ons for extra equipment and refit to vehicle.
What is preventative maintenance?
A properly maintained vehicle will be safer, last longer and be less likely to breakdown.
How do I replace a burned out fuse?
If a fuse continues to “blow,” you should have the circuit checked professionally by one of our mechanics to rule out any defects.
My Van needs a repair, but I need it for work - can you help?
We very often have breakdowns recovered, diagnosed, repaired and back on the road the same day.
We also have a fleet of loan cars & vans enabling clients to continue working with minimum disruption to work while only involving 1 member of staff for a short time period.
